Smart Class

A digital smart classroom provides enhanced teaching and learning experience. Interactive learning experience and easy access to online resources are made possible by smart class rooms. As well as it is a time saving technology with increased productivity and highly effective compared to other teaching methods. This motivates students to participate classes actively with energy and concentration. Our LKG, UKG and primary class rooms are smart class rooms for ensuring better and easy learning of our young students. For senior session, we have a full-fledged smart class room (AV Room) which is used by teachers and students according to the necessity.

AV Room

The audio-visual room is a place where the students of all classes experience learning in an effective way. The audio-visual method appeals most to the senses. It leaves a deeper impact as it involves greater attention in the act of learning and helps the student to retain the concepts taught through these aids. We also use it as an English language lab by giving pronunciation classes with audios and videos. St.Xavier’s school has a full fledged AV room for the betterment of students.

Students Computer Centre and Internet Access Point

Today, it is the age of digital learning, and digital learning promises equal opportunities for every child. But providing a better education has always been a challenge for schools, institutions, and colleges. But with the emerging growth of internet technologies and Wi-Fi access points, we are integrating these advancements in our teaching methods. We have student internet access point where students can search information for their studies in computers. They can easily collect details for their assignments and projects by utilising this facility.

Computer Lab

A computer lab is the space where computer services are provided to our students. Nowadays, modern world and all its activities are based computer and internet. So, it is very essential to provide computer education to our students. Computer labs are instrumental in helping students learn, work with software programs and complete assignments. Most importantly, these IT labs enable students to acquire digital skills. We have a standard computer lab with thirty computers.

Science Lab

Science is a universal subject that spans the branch of knowledge that examines the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. Scientific laboratories can be found as research room and learning spaces in schools. No course in biology can be considered as complete without including some practical work in it. Biology is a scientific topic; thus, it should be learned through experimental method. The laboratory makes teaching of Biology more meaningful and interesting. A Physics lab aids a student in establishing the relevance of the theory. It brings clarity in the mind of the students regarding the basic concept of the subject. Students understand the difference between theory and application. Physics laboratory helps a student in improvising their approach towards the subject. Chemistry lab is the required component of all chemistry courses not only to give experiments their due place in the subject but also to promote in general, an experimental culture in the school system. In the chemistry lab students are expected to indulge in a creative interplay of observation, experimentation and theoretical inferences. Therefore, we maintain a well-maintained science lab for our students.

Library

A library is the Key to the past and gateway to the future. It is the lifeline of future generations which opens the real world of information and knowledge. Right usage of library leads to personality development. It also contributes to intellectual capacity of students as well as gives right awareness about the society and social issues. It opens a wide horizon of knowledge. So, we are maintaining a library in our school with quality collection of books.

Volleyball Court

Participating in sports has been known to improve the cognitive and memory functions of the brain, helping kids perform better in tests and academics. Further, traits such as discipline and perseverance also play an important part in better academic performance. So, we provide systematic volleyball training to all our students.  For this, we have a standard volleyball court at St.Xavier’s school.

Bus Service

There is a well-managed school bus service provided by the school. There are three school buses and two mini-vans available for the easy transportation of students. And also, the services are strictly monitored by the management for the safe journey of students.  The availability of bus attendants ensures safe travelling of children.

Ground

Participating in sports has been known to improve the cognitive and memory functions of the brain, helping kids perform better in tests and academics. Sports help us to reach our fitness goals and maintain a healthy weight.  Participation in sports and games gifts a healthier heart. As well as, it reduced stress and anxiety. It also promotes team work and helps to inculcate a disciplined lifestyle. We have a large ground in our school for our students to engage them in various games.

Curriculum

The primary objective of St.Xaviers School in Dayapar is to impart scientific and progressive education with an emphasis on inculcating and promoting Indian Culture & Tradition.
